The Withings Sleep Analyzer is the usual under-mattress pick: $199.95 on the Withings US store, no required subscription for core sleep data, and a JMIR Human Factors 2026 home study that reported 87% sleep/wake accuracy, 93% sleep sensitivity, 73% wake sensitivity, and 63% four-stage accuracy. If you want something else, it's usually because the mat isn't covering the job you actually have.

Disclosure: I am Dovy, founder of Komori Care. Contactless bedside radar for sleep position, coming 2027, wellness only, not FDA-cleared. Komori Lite $399, Komori with base $799. One-press top button cuts sensing. Optional camera records to an encrypted SD card.

    Quick answer

Pick by the job Withings isn't doing for you:

    • OZI Sleep Tracker ($199, ozisleep.com): Under-the-sheet sensor. Sleep stages, heart rate, breathing trends, movement. Multi-bed dashboard. No camera, no microphone, no subscription. HSA/FSA eligible.
    • Emfit QS ($338, emfit.com): Under-mattress ballistocardiography with a recovery/HRV focus and raw exports. Price includes three years of Emfit cloud; after that the cloud is $50/year.
    • SleepScore Max ($149.99 list, shop.sleepscore.com): Bedside sonar, nothing under the mattress. Sleep architecture and a daily SleepScore. No heart rate. Official shop listing was sold out when we checked in October 2026 — confirm availability before you plan around it.
    • Sleepal AI Lamp ($399 on the Sleepal store): Bedside 60GHz radar lamp. Vendor cites respiratory-rate RMSE under 2 versus medical-grade devices and training on 2,000+ PSG nights.
    • Komori Care (coming 2027): Camera-free sleep position timeline (back/side/stomach). One-press top button cuts sensing. Optional camera to an encrypted SD card. Wellness only.

    Why people look past Withings

The mat is competent. The gaps are specific:

No reliable back / side / stomach labels. Movement and weight distribution are not the same as a position timeline. If that's the question, see how to track sleep position without a camera.

One mat, one sleeper. Multi-bed households need one Withings per bed and separate views. OZI's dashboard is built for several beds in one app.

Under-mattress install. Thick mattresses or toppers can make a slide-under mat harder to place. Bedside sonar or radar skips that.

HRV depth. Withings gives heart rate. Emfit is the recovery-data mat.

    OZI Sleep Tracker

Thin sensor under the fitted sheet. Plugs into USB power. App on iOS and Android.

Compared with Withings: similar movement-derived stages, under-the-sheet instead of under-the-mattress, multi-bed view, no subscription. $199 one-time.

    Emfit QS

Under-mattress sensor aimed at nocturnal HRV and recovery, with raw exports. Finnish company; order through Emfit, availability varies by region.

Compared with Withings: deeper HRV and exports; not a breathing-disturbance screener. $338 includes three years of cloud, then $50/year per Emfit's personal-use page. That is not a no-subscription mat.

    SleepScore Max

Nightstand sonar. Sleep stages and breathing patterns, no heart rate. SleepScore Labs lists $149.99. The official store showed it sold out in October 2026.

Sonar is a different physics than a pressure mat or 60GHz radar. Fine if you want zero-under-mattress placement and can live without heart rate.

    Sleepal AI Lamp

Bedside lamp with 60GHz radar. Sleepal's US store lists $399. Vendor-claimed posture tracking is not the same as a dedicated position timeline — verify what the app actually labels.

    Komori Care (coming 2027)

Two-piece bedside radar: sensor above the headboard, base on the nightstand. Designed for a back/side/stomach timeline, not stage labels. One-press top button cuts sensing. Optional camera records to an encrypted SD card under your control.

    When to keep Withings

Keep the Sleep Analyzer if you want a shipping under-mattress mat from a known brand, Apple Health / Google Fit sync, and core data without a required subscription. $199.95 on the US store. Alternatives above cover multi-bed households, HRV exports, bedside placement, or a position timeline — not Withings' core job.

    FAQ

Is there a cheaper shipping mat than Withings? Withings is $199.95 in the US. SleepScore Max lists $149.99 but was sold out on the official shop when we checked. OZI is $199. Emfit is $338.

Does OZI replace Withings? Same idea (pressure / movement under bedding), different placement and household features. OZI is under the sheet with a multi-bed dashboard. Withings is under the mattress with a breathing-disturbance index.

Does Emfit screen for apnea? No. Emfit tracks respiratory rate and recovery metrics. If you have a breathing concern, that's a clinician conversation, not a mat swap.

Does Komori ship now? No. Coming 2027. Waitlist. For something tonight: Withings, OZI, or Sleepal.
