    Wellness Device Statement

    Komori Care is a general wellness product. It is not a medical device and has not been cleared or approved by the FDA for any medical purpose.

    Not a Substitute for Medical Care

    The data and alerts provided by Komori are for informational and wellness purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical decisions.

    Alert Limitations

    User-defined alerts are based on pattern matching of sensor data. They may produce false positives (alerting when nothing concerning occurred) or false negatives (failing to alert when something concerning occurred). Alerts should never be relied upon as the sole means of monitoring a medical condition.

    No Medical Advice

    Nothing on this website or in the Komori app constitutes medical advice. The sleep data, trends, and insights we provide are for your personal awareness and wellness tracking. Always consult your healthcare provider before making health-related decisions based on Komori data.

    Accuracy Limitations

    Sensor measurements -- including sleep position, movement, temperature, and sound classification -- are estimates and may not be 100% accurate. Environmental factors, device placement, bedding material, room conditions, and individual differences can all affect readings. We continuously improve our algorithms, but no sensor technology is perfect.

    Not for Infants

    Komori is designed for children and adults. It is not an infant monitor and should not be used as a substitute for direct infant supervision or a dedicated infant safety device. If you need to monitor an infant, please use a product specifically designed and tested for that purpose.

    Optional Camera Disclaimer

    If you choose to connect an RTSP-compatible camera, video clips are captured and stored locally on your device. Komori is not responsible for third-party camera hardware, its reliability, or any privacy implications of video recording. You are responsible for complying with applicable laws regarding video recording in your jurisdiction.

    Regulatory Status

    Komori Care, LLC is pursuing FDA 510(k) clearance for vital sign measurement capabilities. Until clearance is obtained, heart rate and respiratory rate features are provided as wellness estimates only and are not intended for medical use. We will clearly communicate when and if regulatory clearance is achieved.
