Amazon Halo Rise Alternative (2026): Bedside Sleep Trackers With a Wake-Up Light

Amazon said it would "stop supporting Amazon Halo effective July 31, 2023." Purchases from the preceding 12 months, Halo Rise included, were refunded (aboutamazon.com).

Halo Rise combined a bedside sleep tracker with a wake-up light. Replacements should cover both jobs if that is what you miss.

Disclosure: I am Dovy, founder of Komori Care. Contactless bedside radar for sleep position, coming 2027, wellness only, not FDA-cleared. Komori Lite $399, Komori with base $799. One-press top button cuts sensing. Optional camera records to an encrypted SD card.

    Quick answer

    • Hatch Sleep Clock ($249.99 as listed on hatch.co in October 2026). Sunrise alarm plus contactless tracking. WIRED: place it level with the mattress, 2 to 4 ft from your chest (WIRED).
    • Sleepal AI Lamp ($399 as listed in Tom's Guide in October 2026). Sunrise light, 60GHz radar, snoring and environment data.
    • Nest Hub (2nd gen) ($99.99 as listed on Google Store in October 2026). Radar sleep sensing and a display, no sunrise lamp.
    • HelioWake One. $149, with a $119 launch offer. Its own site says HelioWake One is "a product in development" and "Coming soon" (heliowake.com). Don't present it as buyable.
    • Komori Care (2027). Position timeline. No wake light claimed.

If you wanted a no-wearable tracker without the light, see SleepScore Max alternatives and Nest Hub sleep sensing alternatives.

    Hatch Sleep Clock

Closest two-job swap: sunrise alarm and contactless tracking on one nightstand device. Sleep tracking needs no subscription. Hatch+ is included for 30 days.

    Sleepal AI Lamp

Sunrise light plus 60GHz radar. More environment data than Hatch. Optional AI+ after a free month.

    Nest Hub (2nd gen)

Cheapest radar sleep sensing on this list. It has a display and a sunrise-style alarm on the screen. It is not a dedicated sunrise lamp.

    HelioWake One

Its comparison table lists $149. The site also shows a $119 launch offer. Footer copy: "HelioWake One is a product in development." Sticky copy: "Coming soon." Wait for it to ship before you plan around it.

    Komori Care (coming 2027)

Contactless bedside radar for a back/side/stomach timeline (design intent). One-press top button cuts sensing. Optional camera records to an encrypted SD card. No wake light claimed.

    FAQ

Does Halo Rise still work? Amazon said support ended July 31, 2023. Devices and the app would "no longer function" beginning August 1, 2023. Quote that. This page does not claim the hardware bricked in some other way.

What's the closest Halo Rise replacement? Hatch Sleep Clock if you want a shipping sunrise alarm plus contactless tracking. Sleepal if you also want 60GHz radar and room sensors.

Is there a cheaper Halo Rise alternative? Nest Hub (2nd gen) at $99.99 has radar sleep sensing and a display. It does not replace the sunrise lamp job.

Do these need a subscription? Hatch sleep tracking is included. Sleepal basic tracking is free; AI+ is optional. Nest Hub's FAQ says a Sleep Sensing preview is included "until next year" at no additional cost. HelioWake says no subscription, but it is not shipping.
